Little Dressmaker: Major Marie Antoinette feels at the Christian Dior Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2007 collection by John Galliano, which was extra special due to it celebrating the 60th anniversary of the forever iconic fashion house, I felt it was a true homage to Dior’s past and everything I love about the brand – art, theatrics, classic (yet) next level silhouettes, pure creativity, and a feminine elegance. While the palette was eclectic but fitting with colors of emerald green, peach, midnight blue, muted purple and yellow-orange gradients, one of my favourite pieces was this ultra light pink corseted dress with billowing ruffles, oversized Disney princess sleeves and jewels draped over the bodice, while my other favourite was this baby blue dress with matching satin jacket ribboned with soft white and detailed with flower embroidery, both pieces giving a mix of renaissance & pre-raphaelite vibes. via.
