Over the last six months, Creative Director Alessandro Michele worked together with Makinarium—a factory specializing in integrated special and visual effects—to create a lifelike small dragon, a chameleon, and a coral snake, which appeared on the Gucci Fall Winter 2018 runway. The creature is inspired by the ‘Legend of the baby dragon in the jar’, a hoax staged by a British author who in 2004 invented to have found a dragon inside a jar in his garage.
